From the Western Mail of Wednesday 23rd August 1893:

LOSS OF FISHING SMACK OFF MILFORD HAVEN

NARROW ESCAPE OF THE CREW

The fishing smack Margaret, foundered two miles off St. Ann's Head on Sunday afternoon about five o'clock, and the crew, consisting of three men, had a very narrow escape from drowning.  Their names are Captain Henry Brown R.N.R., Peter Sturley, and the cook, John Lewis.  They were rescued with the greatest difficulty by the yacht [sic] Flirt, belonging to Mr. S. Kelway, and landed at Little Haven, where they were most kindly treated by Mr. Phelps, of the Castle Hotel.  The smack had a good catch of fish on board valued at about £50 to £60.
