Accidents and Incidents
From the West Wales Guardian of Friday 17th December 1948:
On enquiry on Thursday we were told at the offices of Messrs. Peter Hancock and Sons that there is no truth whatever that the steam trawler Wigan has been sold to a Scottish port.
"You can scotch that rumour," and official of the firm declared. "The Wigan is still in our ownership."
