12 Apr 1918: Delivered as THOMAS EVISON to Admiralty (No. 3743). Listening hydrophones; 1 x 12 pdr.

1922: Sold to mercantile.

17 Mar 1940: German aircraft dropped three bombs between the AVONDEE and BRACONLEA, with no damage; the skipper of the AVONDEE fired several rounds with his machine-gun at them. [The Times, Monday, 18th Mar 1940.]

Mar 1944: Requisitioned by Admiralty as AVONDEE, and converted to an Esso. (P.No. 4.432)

Oct 1944: Returned to owners.

16 Feb 1948: The AVONDEE arrived at Fraserburgh Bay with an unexploded mine lashed to her deck. [The Times, Tuesday, 17th Feb 1948.]
