Berwick Shipyard  Shipbuilding at Berwick began in 1751, and between 1950-79 small steel vessels were built. The purpose of this website is to keep the memory of shipbuilding at Berwick alive, and includes a list of all the ships launched at the port, several of which were Milford-based trawlers.

Brixham Heritage Sailing Trawlers Archive - Brixham suffered a decline as a fishing port in the late nineteenth century, as the formerly rich fishing grounds off the Cornish and Devon coasts thinned out.  Many Brixham trawlers and their crews came to Milford to take advantage of the bigger catches available in the Western Approaches.

CenQuest - The CenQuest site is a multi year census database containing details of shipping at a number of anchorages in Pembrokeshire and Cardigan, including port numbers of fishing vessels, and names of skippers and masters, as well as of the crew aboard the vessel on census night.

Fleetwood Online Archive of Trawlers (FLOAT)  A conservation and archival project supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Lancashire County Council, containing a substantial collection of photographs of trawlers from Fleetwood and other ports, together with their technical and historical details.

Granton Trawlers website.  The aim of this site is to keep alive the memory of the fishing industry in the ports of Granton and Leith, with information on the trawlers and men of those ports, including the part they played in the defence of our nation during the two world wars.

Hull Trawler website, dedicated to all Hull Trawlers, and the men who sailed in them. Many Hull-registered trawlers sailed out of Milford, with Hull crew members, some of whom settled in Milford.
